At BCSSW, the community is your second classroom. Our 学生 complete more than 300,000 field placement hours every year, engaging in direct social work practice in public schools, medical centers, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

Our 教师 are leading researchers and scholars in an array of subject areas, contributing regularly to national and international conversations around issues like childhood trauma, productive aging, and global migration.

Our innovative research centers, 项目, and labs encourage 教师 and 学生 to analyze emerging trends and use their findings to propose solutions and inform future studies. In 2021, we provided 51 paid graduate research positions.
